At risk youth programs are a positive effort for teens help. In this program the teenagers learn more about their roll in social and family. Teens who have stresses of life problem, are more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol, engage in criminal activity, are sexually promiscuous, and attempt suicide.
Many of these at-risk teens run away and eventually find themselves locked up in detention centers or living on the streets. Youth programs are running ion different way of social and school life. These programs give a confidence for fighting with trouble anxiety and depression.
On the other hand, many successful programs for at-risk youth make use of their autonomy to develop very rich curricular offerings, particularly in the area of experiential learning.
It is important to distinguish between social characteristics of at-risk youth and the conditions in schools which inhibit or fail to bring about learning.
It is becoming increasingly clear that at-risk youth are those who attend certain types of schools-- specifically schools with little support, which promote low expectations and which have little or no curriculum focus.
We believe any child that grows up in this world is at-Risk in some way. Children will be exposed to sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll at a very early age.
Teens will know other kids that do drugs, drink alcohol, or smoke cigarettes. Some parents will do all they can to raise their kids right - and their kids may still make poor choices. The statistics we have gathered are amazing.
At risk youth can be sex, any race, and any age. Each g roup has a different area where they are more at risk, but they are all youth at risk.
To prevent and reduce the incidence of juvenile delinquency, crime, and other problem behaviors is the main goal of this program. This program will help to promote a climate that allows for the development of personal goals and high expectations, respect for self and others, personal accountability for one's own actions, well-earned pride in accomplishments, a strong work ethic.
