Teen pregnancy is a significant problem in modern era. Teenage pregnancies not only do interfere with the success in life, but affect whole family and neighborhood as well. Teenage pregnancy has both socially and economically disadvantaged. Programs that are running to reduce teen pregnancy typically focus on teens that are most at risk. A large part of pregnant teens are the result of significantly older men having sex with teens. Medical science and research shoe that children and teens do not always have the maturity to responsibly consent to sex. So the have sex with teen by old age person is illegal, labeled as statutory rape. And it increases the teen pregnancy.

There are a number of programs that are running for prevent teen pregnancy. These programs are very effective and work at the world label.

(1)Sex education programs--- researches and fact has shown that adults and children agree that school students should be strongly encouraged to delay sex. Most part of adult population also agrees that young people should be provided with information about contraception. Public opinion, in this case, is positive and they support it. They suppose it is the abstinence-plus-contraception educational programs that have demonstrated success at reducing teen pregnancy.

(2) Youth development. Perhaps the most successful teen pregnancy prevention programs and this program offers pre-teens and teens a full range of services besides basic education, including help with school, employment assistance, sports and other recreational activities, and access to mental health, medical, and dental services. The benefits of the program extend beyond teen pregnancy prevention.

(3) Service learning. The evidence says that service-learning programs have a strong impact on reducing teen pregnancy. These programs include a combination of voluntary or unpaid service in the community and structured time for the teen to prepare and reflect on the experience before, during, and after service.

(4) Media campaigns. A critical aspect of teen pregnancy prevention is countering the glamorization of teenage sex and single parenthood by popular culture and the entertainment industry. (5) Parental Involvement. In addition to curriculum-based programs, policymakers must also reach out to the parents of teens and pre-teens. The idea is to provide parents, through training sessions, town hall meetings, and web resources, with the information they need to comfortably discuss premarital sex with their children.

There are a number of programs and organization that can reduce teen pregnancy, and ultimately, poverty and dependency. It is time for ministers at every level of government to draw from past victories and implement ambitious and effective prevention programs.
