It is very difficult to notice that the signs of sexual abuse in teens. Sexual abuse is defined as any sexual activity that a teenager cannot comprehend or give consent to, or that violates the law. The sexual action may consist of fondling, oral-genital, genital and anal contact, as well as exhibitionism, voyeurism and exposure to pornography. There are many causes of sexual abuse. The most common reason of girls is the sexual event, which has been done in early age. There are many symptoms of sexual abuse.

Behavioral symptoms of sexual abuse are:

• Anal tears or dilation.
• Art that shows abuse
• Discharge from the vagina or penis
• Rectal or genital bleeding
• Excessive masturbation
• Sexually suggestive behavior with adults or older children
• Poor social boundaries
• An unusual interest in or preoccupation with sexual matters
• Locking doors
• Nightmares
• Not wanting friends to visit at home
• Not wanting to go home or getting home too early
• Hints about abusive sexual activity through actions or comments.
• Suicidal feelings or attempts
• Bruises, scars, chafing, or bite marks in the genital area.
• Sexual knowledge or language that is inappropriate for the child's age or development.

Physical signs of sexual are:

• Unusual vaginal odor or discharge.
• Bruising, bleeding, swelling, tears or cuts of genitals or anus.
• Sexually transmitted disease, especially in a pre-adolescent child
• Pregnancy.
• Torn, stained, or bloody clothing, particularly underwear or itching in genital area, difficulty going to the bathroom, walking or sitting.

It is the responsibility of the parents that to tell their teen that if someone tries to touch his or her body and do things that make the teen feel uncomfortable, he or she should say no to the person and tell you about it right away. And also tell them about the affects of sexual abuse.
