The Residential Treatment Program is one of the three inpatient programs available at West Virginia Treatment Center for kids. Residential Treatment in the West Virginia is a year-round program designed to give both therapeutic and educational services to kids and teenagers who have long standing emotional and behavioral difficulties and have not responded to less restraining treatments. The Residential Treatment Program in the West Virginia serves kids and teenagers age school age through 17.
Residential treatment center is providing the facilities:
•Individual Therapy
•Family Therapy
•Multifamily Group Therapy

•Group Therapy
•Parent Support and Education
•Recreational, Art, Music, and Occupational Therapy
•Full-Day Educational Services

Kids are packed off to Residential Treatment Centers, in the West Virginia often sent by officials they have in no way met, who have most likely never spoken to their parents, teachers. The fact that kids and their families are far from one more creates a host of problems. For one, it makes family therapy tricky or impossible. As a result, when kids depart the Residential Treatment Center, they go back to a background that has not changed.
