Mount Carmel Youth Ranch is a real working cattle ranch that helps troubled teens ages of 12 to 18 to get healing through mind, body and spirit therapy. They provide unique therapeutic approach to their patients that create steady behavior improvement. The center offers several programs to enable the qualities of teens. Students of this center are called cowboy and teach adjustment to get used to the cowboy way of life. They provide them the opportunity to learn how to take care of themselves and look to the needs of ranch animals. The parents can also talk to their children and staff members on a regular basis about his progress.

Center provides parental teachings and reality therapy to heal mind and heart of students. They suggest this philosophy to their students to do in day to day activities and teach them the principles of god who creates us all. The staff members keep friendly relations with their students and all students respect their teachers. They believe that growth in the areas of honesty, trust, moral integrity, improved relationships, responsibility and stress management through center will reduce the student’s dependence on uncontrollable behavior and offer him increasing in ability to find joy, purpose and fulfillment in his life.

When students complete their wilderness program in this center, they offer them aftercare program to maintain them forever and help him to rejoin his family in right way. In center students teach the moral values of life through wide variety of ranch activities which help them to make a responsible person and experience a new lifestyle. They provide them grade level education, cattle management, farming, heavy equipment operation, horse riding and care, carpentry, mechanics, welding, and small animal care in their program which keeps them healthy and help them to regain their lives.
