Aspen Ranch is a licensed adolescent residential treatment center for troubled teens located in rural Loa, Utah. It is surrounded by towering green mountains and incredible rock desert. They offer residential treatment program for boys and girls both. They provide them a safe and comfortable environment to promote positive changes in their patients.
They not only treat drug and alcohol addict people but also some other disorders such as low self esteem, academic underachievement, substance abuse, mood disorders, anger and family conflict. They provide therapeutic environment to their patient. They encourage their patients to participate in individual and group therapy of center to meet their needs. They also provide life changing equine program to their patients that allows patients to experience success and rediscover a sense of mastery and self worth.
The mission of the center is to develop practice and improve healthy interdependence, social accountability, responsibility and self mastery through principle based decision making, value congruent behavior, and honest achievement in a traditional ranch setting. They offer unique and effective program to their patients. They use horses and horsemanship in their program to bareback riding, to jumping, to overnight off-site trail rides, to barrel racing, to team penning, to young horse training for patients.
They also provide some kinds of team building activities to, experiential learning and therapy groups to create a unique program for their patients. they provide personal attention on safety of their patients. They teach their patients to make friendly relationships with each other. The length of stay in the center depends on the type of addiction of patient but usually they offer their program for 9 months minimum stay.
